BRITISH RACING FESTIVAL: ZANDVOORT SPECIAL INVITATION RACE: OCTOBER 3rd and 4th 2015
Good news, we have been invited to race at the world famous, ex home of the Dutch Grand Prix, Zandvoort circuit in Holland on October 3rd & 4th as part of the British Race Festival meeting. http://www.britishracefestival.nl/?page_id=24
The invitation for the Mini 7 racing club extends to two races in a British Saloon car (Escorts, MG, Austin Healey’s, Rover, etc) All comers race. The two 20 minute races will be on the Sunday with two 20 minute qualifying sessions on the Saturday. To compete you will need a MSA National A or higher licence. Scrutineering will be comparable with the MSA scrutineering. So if your car and race gear complies with the MSA National A safety rules you are allowed to race in Holland. The organisers realise that there will be travel costs for you to get to this meeting so have waived the entry fees, so to repeat, there will be NO entry fees for this event. The organisers have also made available some seaside cottages at a very good rate for those not staying in the back of your vans! From the club’s point of view, this race represents another end of season bonus (don’t forget the 50 plate at the end of October at Snetterton) and can itch the scratch that some may have to go racing overseas at an amazing circuit with no entry fees. If successful, we would like to build this event into our 2016 calendar as a full championship round, thus to have some members provide direct feedback would be very helpful.
So, next steps….please register your interest via email to email@example.com NOW using the scale below ASAP so that we can give organisers a sense of how many drivers are likely to be supporting this event or not.
1) I am 100% going to be there…would not miss this chance….
2) I am 50% certain to be there…just cannot commit to it right now but it’s in the diary
3) I am 100% not going to be there…..far too much sand and the beers are too weak…
