Castle Combe opens this season’s Mini Se7en and Mini Miglia Challenges on April 6th, with entertainment guaranteed from these classic compact stalwarts of British club racing.

In the Mini Se7ens, now into their 50th racing season, the favourites for victory include reigning (three-time) champion Andrew Deviny and 2014 series runner-up Darren Thomas. Also expected to be in the mix are former champions Max Hunter, Paul Spark and Tina Cooper, plus race winners from last season Ashley Davies and Graeme Davis, while reigning Novice champion Shaun Tarlton is aiming to defend his title in the budget S-Class.

The Mini Miglias, starting ‘only’ their 46th Challenge campaign, will be headed by Rupert Deeth, looking to clinch back-to-back titles. Hot on his heels will be perennial series bridesmaid Kane Astin while others likely to be up front include Colin Peacock, Rob Howard, Dave Drew and Dan Wheeler.

Also racing with the Miglia’s will be non-championship ‘guest’ Minis, running in the Mini-7 Classic and Invitation classes.
