EASTERN PROMISE

SNETTERTON 200

BRSCC club meeting

Saturday 9 - Sunday 10 May 2026

GOODYEAR MINI CHALLENGES supported by MINI SPARES

EAST ANGLIA PLAYS HOST TO THE SECOND MEETING OF THE YEAR FOR THE MAGNIFICENT MINIS ON 9-10 MAY, WITH A FULL ENTRY EAGER TO TACKLE THE SHORTER 200 SNETTERTON LAYOUT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN NEARLY A DECADE AND WHICH SHOULD GUARANTEE BREATHLESS ACTION ALL WEEKEND!

Last time out at Donington Park in the East Midlands, Aaron Smith and Sam Summerhayes shared overall Miglia victories but the likes of Kane Astin, Rupert Deeth and Jeff Smith were all well to the fore along with dark horse Phil Bullen-Brown, with several more waiting in the wings to pounce should the leaders slip up. Expect more of the same here in Norfolk, whilst in Libres Huw Turner heads the standings following a win and 2nd place in last month’s opening double-header.

In the smaller capacity categories, Glen Woodbridge holds a narrow points advantage from Daniel Munro and Spencer Wanstall, the first two named taking an overall win apiece at Donington, with last season’s top pairing of Ross Billison and Damien Harrington further back in the rankings after mixed results. Former S-Class champion Michael Winkworth was the class of the S-Class entry in the opening races but will face several new title challengers led by Patrick McCarthy and George Welch.
