Celebrating 60 Years of Mini 7 Racing with SH3DART at Brands Hatch
As part of our 60th anniversary, we are pleased to feature the artwork of Sam from SH3DART, a creator with a long‑standing passion for Minis and the racing community around them.
Sam’s connection to Minis runs deep. A lifelong fan of the Classic Mini, he has followed Mini racing for years through livestreams and BTCC support rounds, always drawn to the close battles and unmistakable character these cars bring to the track. Minis have also played an important role in Sam’s personal journey. Living with Cerebral Palsy, his own red Classic Mini became a symbol of independence and confidence, and the Mini community quickly became a place where he felt welcomed and included.
What began as a hobby, creating CGI artwork inspired by the cars he loves, has gradually grown into SH3DART, a small brand dedicated to celebrating the spirit, heritage and personality of the Mini world. Over the last couple of years, Sam has become increasingly involved with the motorsport side of the Mini scene, producing artwork for drivers, championships and events, and bringing a fresh creative perspective to the paddock.
To mark our 60th anniversary, Sam has created a special poster that showcases all four classes in the Mini 7 Racing Club: Se7en, Miglia, Libre and Se7en S‑Class. Each car has a Mini 7‑inspired livery created from the club’s logos, and we love the details. The cars carry class‑correct door stickers and windscreen banners featuring the number 60 for the anniversary, and even the drivers have matching Mini 7‑themed helmets. The result captures the variety, character and racing spirit that define our grids.
Sam will be joining us at Brands Hatch this weekend, where he will have prints of the anniversary artwork on display alongside his other work. We are thrilled to have him involved in this milestone year and look forward to welcoming him into the paddock to meet drivers, teams and fans.
