Paul Thompson got his 2010 campaign to a flying start taking the win from pole position, finishing just two tenths ahead of Kane Astin and four tenths ahead of Sarah Munns at the chequered flag. Gordon Pocock had a big accident at the opening corner, bringing out the safety car. After a medical check up Gordon was released with a few bumps and bruises.
