The longest running single make race series in Europe

MINI SE7EN
Now in its 47th season the Mini Se7en Challenge has been providing great racing at an affordable price. Much has changed since the first ever Formula Mini 7 race took place at Brands Hatch track July 1966 but the Mini Se7ens still provides great entertainment for driver and spectator alike.

Since 1991 the Se7ens have been using a modified 998cc A Series engine and the 650kg Mini is can reach 60mph in 6.6 seconds, with a top speed of around 110mph. Running on treaded racing Dunlop rubber the cars stick to the road like the proverbial go-kart!
BTCC and British GT driver Paul O'Neill tested a Mini Se7en for Motorsport News at Rockingham and he said this of Max Hunter's championship winning Se7en.

"I thought when I jumped into max Hunter's Se7en that it wasn't going to be much different from the S Class, but I was massively surprised. As soon as I set off out of the pitlane you could feel the difference in the gearbox, the brakes and when you get on the throttle you can really feel the extra power. This car really gave me a wake up call to the potential of racing a Mini. Anyone stepping up from the S Class wouldn't have a problem as there is nothing to be frightened of but it's certainly more of a racing car than an S Class Se7en."
